Radnevo municipality is located in the eastern part of the Upper Thracian Plain, surrounded by the municipalities of Stara Zagora, Nova Zagora, Tundzha, Topolovgrad, Galabovo and Opan. Radnevo is conveniently located just:
- 32 km from the city of Stara Zagora,
- 170 km from the Black Sea port of Bourgas,
- 250 km from the city of Sofia and
- 124 km from the international airport in Plovdiv.
With a population of 23,100 living in the municipal centre Radnevo and 21 villages, it covers an area of 545 sq. km.
