Serving as a liaison between city governments and the business community SZREDA, works closely with municipal and district governments to provide assistance with:
- The preparation and implementation of projects for economic development
- The development of strategies for local and regional development
- The development of the District Plan for Regional Development and the Plan for Development of the South Central Region
- The presentation and promotion of opportunities offered by the municipalities and the region at national and international forums
- The training for municipal and district government officers
- The building agencies/centers for municipal development
